DAILY REPORTS

Welcome to daily reports, thanks to which you will be able to stay in touch with us and get fresh news on counting migratory birds over Vistula Spit. Every day we will report to you outcomes and our impressions and we will attach some nice photos. Enjoy!

Day Seventeen

Today?s weather was heralding autumn which is to come soon. It was a mixture of sun variously shaped and colored clouds, rain and wind at different speeds.

Day Sixteen

There was no trace of yesterday?s heat. Strong eastern wind was favorable to wanderers. Altogether we counted 135 raptors.

Day Fifteen

It was a beautiful summer day? The heat was coming down in sheets. Cloudless sky and lack of rain were a disadvantage for those who counted birds.

Day Fourteen

Thick fog from the morning, visibility 100 metres. Foggy clouds were moving over the vantage point from the lagoon to the sea and the other way round.

Day Thirteen

Judging by the weather it looked like a hard day. The sea was stormy and heavy clouds were moving over our heads since the very morning.

Day Twelve

From the very beginning it looked like a promising day. We were welcomed by a Honey Buzzard. It was a young bird, with fair feathers round his eye. He came really close, unfortunately the camera let us down so we still need to wait for our best photo of the season.

Day Eleven

The Vistula Spit is in the low. No wind, no waves not only on the sea but also on the lagoon. The silence was interrupted by chirping of warblers in the bushes.

Day Ten

A breakthrough at last! Birds must have been attracted by our guests from the South of Poland. The first time on the tower and for sure not the last. We were lucky enough also to spot some rare birds :).

Day Nine

Very cheerful atmosphere today on our vantage point since the very morning. Teresa and Ewelina were remembering good, old times all day long as we all were eating cookies, chocolate bars and various fruits.

Day Eight

The weather forecast didn?t turn out to be true. It was supposed to rain while the sun was heating mercilessly. Lizard were basking in the sun as usually.
