Day Sixty Eight

According to weather forecast we expected endless rains and consequently no birds.

And this time we were surprised as it wasn't that bad! It did rain till 12, with only 2 birds appearing: a Woodpigeon and a Sparrowkawk. Yet, later on not only did it stop raining, but also the sun came out. It caused about 2000 corvids and 25 sparrowhawks to fly. An unexpected phonecall from fishermen fom Piaski was an award for patience. They cought 2 ducks in the net of which one survived and got in the hands of Drapolicz. The mysterious duck turned out to be a Scaup, not ringeded yet by our friends from Kuling.
Birds counted by: Andrzej Kośmicki, Stanisław Łubieński and the duck ringed for Kuling by Nagór.
