Day Ninety Two

The one but last day of counting left us disillusioned.

It was cold and cloudy so no wonder there were very few birds as well people on the tower. You'd better stay at home than come to the Pirate without hot beverage! Mainly passerines were present and tried to be visible: starlings, bullfinches, chaffinches, bramblings, thrushes and waxwing which sometimes happen to sit on a pine. Mostly seen raptors were local white-tailed eagles. Besides sparrowhawks, a few common buzzards, two hen harriers a goshawk and some corvids.
