Day Seventy Eight

In this foggy morning birds started to fly only after 8 a.m. Today?s results for corvidae was 175 and for pigeons only 20.

Day Seventy Seven

Our appetites came with eating after yesterday?s fine day :). There were a bit less raptors today, but still divers migrating in flocks of 15 birds.

Today the weather was fine. Cloudless sky, light wind and warm :). We also couldn?t complain about raptors.

Today there were 3 dominating colours: blue, black and grey. From dawn till dusk the sky was covered by migrating crows and sometimes rooks.

The wind became weaker, emotions wore off, it became gloomy again. Corvidae still flying with determination, crows dominating - 760 birds.

Strong wind made it difficult for birds to migrate. Few raptors managed to fly out of the bushes and looked like bullets propelled by the wind.

First two hours, although cold and gloomy were giving hope that counting will still  bring some good results.

The weather didn?t spoil us today, clouds and wind all day long. Very few raptors, only 10 birds in the morning.
